EARL ZUCK, Van Meter

Earl Zuck, 88, of rural Van Meter, died Dec. 21, 1994 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset of a heart ailment. Funeral services were Dec. 27 at the Fisher Funeral Home in Van Meter. Burial was at the Brethren Cemetery near Dallas Center.

He was born Jan. 13, 1906 at Dallas Center to Albert and Ida Zuck. He married Clara Smith on June 30, 1936 at Adel. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Van Meter most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Surviving relatives include his wife; two sons, Dwayne of Billings, Mont., and Raymond of Des Plaines, Ill.; one brother Joe of Overland Park, Kan.; one sister Alma Hall of San Gabriel, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
