March 26, 1971 - February 9, 1990Brian Kelly Boyle, son of Jerald and Roberta Boyle, was born and raised on the family farm in rural Dexter.
Brian graduated from Earlham High School in 1989 and went on to serve as a Private in the United States Army Reserve.
Brian, the big happy-go-lucky boy, liked and loved by all around him, was taken from us on February 9, 1990 before his promise of manhood could be fulfilled.
Preceded in death by his brother Keith and grandparents Morris and Lela Boyle, Brian is survived by his parents Jerald Boyle of Dexter and Roberta Boyle of Guthrie Center; sisters Jennifer and Coleen Wingert, Susan Ramsey, and Beth Boyle; brothers Lynn Boyle and Mike Rex, and grandmother Margaret Stanley.
Brian will always live on as we each cherish his memory.
Burial was at Penn Center cemetery.

Monday, February 12, 1990Dexter, Ia. - Services for Brian K. Boyle, 18, of Dexter will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Penn Center Church in rural Earlham. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Boyle died Saturday of injuries suffered in a car accident in rural Adams County.
Mr. Boyle was born in Winterset and was a lifelong resident of Dexter. He was a private in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Survivors include his father, Jerald of Dexter; his mother, Roberta Boyle of Guthrie Center; two sisters, Susan Ramsey of Kansas City Mo., and Beth Ann Boyle of Houston; two brothers, Lynne Boyle and Michael Rex, both of Des Moines; two half-sisters, Jennifer Wingert of Dallas Center and Colleen Wingert of Des Moines; and his grandmother, Margaret Stanley of Bondurant.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday at McKee Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted February 14, 1990 at Penn Center Church, rural Earlham, Iowa with Reverend Nova Wells officiating. Velma Garrett provided organ music. Pallbearers were David Boyle, Lester Boyle, Denny Faust, Nick Boyle, Dennis Day and Wayne Thrailkill. Interment was in Penn Center Cemetery, rural Earlham, Iowa.
