December 1, 1900 - July 27, 1991Floyd Raymond was born December 1, 1900 at Penn Center, Madison County, Iowa to Coradon and Cora (Imboden) Boyle and passed away on July 27, 1991 at the Community Care Center in Stuart.
His elementary education was received in country school at Penn Center and then he attended Dexter High School.
On March 30, 1926 he was united in marriage to Esther M. Fink and one son was born to this union.
For several years Raymond and Esther lived in Madison County, later moving to Adair County where they farmed south of Stuart. They moved in to Stuart shortly before Esther's death in 1983.
Raymond was a member of the Stuart-Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, Farm Bureau and Stuart Conservation Club. He enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved to fish.
Besides his wife Esther, he was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Ruth and one brother Clifton.
Surviving are his son Claude R. of Des Moines; two brothers, Lester and Dale of Earlham; two sisters, Mildred Willison of Norwalk and Mable Gilman of Earlham, other relatives and friends.
Burial was at South Oak Grove cemetery, Stuart, Iowa.
