MRS. FLOYD EIVINS Dies

Mrs. Floyd Eivins of near Winterset died last Thursday, July 5, 1973, at Memorial Hospital in Winterset. She was 61 years of age.

Mrs. Eivins was a life-long resident of Webster township. The former Ruth Genevieve Young, daughter of Hugh A. and Lilly Binns Young, she was born in this county Feb. 10, 1912. She was married to Floyd F. Eivins on Feb. 10, 1938.

She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and was active in the Women's Society of Christian Service of that church. She was also a member of the Rebekah lodge and vaious garden clubs.

Surviving are her husband, Floyd Eivins of Winterset; five children, Everett Eivins of St. Joseph, Mo., Mrs. Velma Frantum of Gerlaw, Ill., Marvin Eivins of Winterset, Harvey Eivins of Creston, and Arnold Eivins of Van Meter. A daughter, Thelma, preceded her in death.

She also leaves nine grandchildren; and seven brothers: Ralph Young of Macksburg, Alfred and Chester Young of Earlham, Hugh Young of Creston, and Earl, Clarence and Howard Young, all of Wintersest.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Willis Grant of Macksburg. Burial was made in Moon Cemetery at Macksburg.
