James Berg, Seneca, N.Y.

James D. Berg, 56, died February 16, 1993 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Lackswanna, N.Y. Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church in Winterset on Sun. Feb. 21, with the Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating. Burial was at Blair Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Berg was born in Des Moines on April 30, 1936, to Melvin and Vera (Banks) Berg. He was a construction manager for West Valley Nuclear Services Company. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean conflict.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Surviving relatives include his father, Melvin Berg and wife Lenore, of Winterset.
