Olga Bennington, Winterset

Funeral services for Olga Bennington, 90, were held Sat., March 30 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. John Shaull officiating. She died March 27 at Madison County Memorial Hospital.

A lifelong Winterset resident, she was born March 29, 1900 to William and Lora (Cobb) Bennington in Marysville in Marion County. She was a retired food worker, having worked for Blank Memorial Hospital, Des Moines, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Phillips and Wilma Bennington, both of Winterset; a brother, Donald Bennington of Winterset; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
