Funeral services for Keith Bell, former well-known resident of Winterset, were held Sunday afternoon, July 8th from the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints at Lamoni, Iowa.

Mr. Bell died July 4th at Estes Park, Colo., while en route to visit family and friends in Iowa. He was 64 years of age.

A son of Everett and Effie Donnelson Bell, he was born July 27, 1914 at Hatfield, Mo. The family moved to Lamoni where he attended elementary and high school, graduating from Graceland College in that community. Bell also attended a military academy at Booneville, Mo.

On June 14, 1941, he was married to Lillian Sandy in Kansas City. They lived in Lamoni, where Mr. Bell became the third generation of his family associated with Donnelson Motor Co. there.

He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the R.L.D.S. church, served on the Lamoni school board and as a vice-president of the State Bank of Lamoni.

He moved to Winterset in 1953 and founded Keith Bell Motors, a Ford-Mercury dealership. He retired in 1977 and moved to Sun City.

While in Winterset, Bell was active in Lions Club, American Legion and V.F.W.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian,; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Ann George of Milaca, Minn., and Mrs. Margaret R. Hunt of Mt. Ayr, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.

Officiating at the funeral Sunday were Elders James R. Tabor and David Phipps. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery at Lamoni.
