Leonard Bell, 77, formerly of Macksburg, died May 1 at his home in Westminster, Colo.
He was born April 18, 1915 at Dexter to Earl and Nellie Bell and spent most of his life in Iowa, moving to California in 1964 to be near his children and grandchildren. He and his wife, Alice, had been married 57 years.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a granddaughter.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Loyal of Huntington Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Kay Schutz of Santa Ana, Calif.; a brother; and four grandchildren.
