Iva G. Beem, Winterset

Services for Iva G. Beem, 95, Winterset, who died Feb. 13 at Care Center North where she resided, were held Saturday, Dec. 16 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Miller officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Adair County Oct. 3, 1889, she was the daughter of Alvah and Clara Barnett Weaver. On Feb. 23, 1910, she married Clarence Beem in Adair County.

She was a homemaker and spent most of her life in this area.

Survivors include sons, Eldon of Winterset and Elwood of Bakersfield, Calif.; a daughter, Agatha Agan of Winterset; a sister, Ocia Carl of Greenfield; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, six brothers and two sisters.
