Francis Beem, Winterset

Services for Francis Beem, 69, Winterset, who died Mar. 20 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held today (Wednesday) at 1:30 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Peter Quiring officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Madison County Oct. 2, 1913, he was the son of Walter and Sara Wright Beem. Mr. Beem was a laborer and never married.

Survivors include sisters, Gladys Callison, Lillian Comstock and Mary Crawford, all of Winterset.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
