Eunice Beem, 69, of Neb., died March 30, 1996. Services were held at the Wherry Funeral Home in Humboldt, Neb. on April 3, 1996. Burial was at the Lincoln Memorial Park in Lincoln, Neb.

She was born April 17, 1927, to Ralph and Lily Mae (Burgett) Harshbarger. She married Elwood Beem on May 31, 1959. She was a cook and owned restaurants in Beatrice, Neb., before moving back to Humboldt, Neb., where she was cook at the Humboldt Community Hospital. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Humboldt, Nib., the Eagles Auxiliary of Beatrice, Neb., and past president of the Beatrice Drove No. 10 Elks in Beatrice, Neb.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one sister; a son-in-law; and a grandson.

Surviving relatives include her husband; two sons, Kenneth and Lyle; four daughters, Harriett, Diana, Dixie and Becky; a brother Robert; a sister Grace; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
