Eldon A. Beem, Winterset

Eldon A. Beem, 79, of Winterset, died of congestive heart failure May 9, 1995 at the Community Care Center in Winterset. Funeral services were May 12 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winterset. Pastor Steve Koch officiated the services and burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

He was born in Madison County on Oct. 2, 1915 to Clarence and Iva (Weaver) Beem. He married Marjorie Johnson on June 9, 1941 at Trenton, Mo. He was a retired service station operator. He had operated Beem's Phillip's 66 Service Station from 1962 to 1980. He was a lifetime resident of Madison County and a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winterset.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother.

Surviving relatives include his wife; one son, Bruce Beem and wife Linda of Blue Springs, Mo.; one sister, Agatha Agan of Winterset; one brother, Elwood Beem of Humboldt, Neb.; and one grandchild.
