ROY BEEDLE OF WINTERSET DIES

Funeral Services Are Set For This Friday From Collins Home

Roy W. Beedle died at his home in Winterset this Tuesday, Feb. 26. He was 78 years of age.

Mr. Beedle was a life-time resident of Madison county. He was born here Nov. 3, 1884, a son of Abraham and Rachel Murphy Beedle. He worked at the Earlham rock quarry until 1930, after which he engaged in farming.

He was married Jan. 29, 1919 to Orrel Benge of Winterset.

Surviving are three sons, Walter E. Beedle of Des Moines, Perry Beedle of Springfield, Mo. and Billy Joe Beedle of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence McNabb of Des Moines and a brother, John Beedle of Winterset.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. C. Short, pastor of the Grace Baptist church of Winterset. Burial will be made in Fairview cemetery.
