Cora Mae Beem, 89, died September 25, 1993 at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 1993 at 1 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating.
Mrs. Beem was born September 19, 1904 in Montgomery County (near Grant) to Jobe Scott Wilson and Minnie A. Copeland Wilson. She married Everett M. Beem May 7, 1932 in Bethany, Missouri. Mrs. Beem was a retired sales clerk and homemaker, she was employed by Graves Clothing Store for 20 years. She lived in Winterset since 1918 and was a member of the First Christian Church and the Buffalo Gals Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother and one half-brother; four sisters and two half-sisters.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Beem and wife Marilyn of Edmonds, Washington; two brothers, Gordon Wilson of Winterset and Russell Wilsonn of Bucklin, Missouri; one sister, Madge Nelson of Stayton, Oregon; one grandchild, Wendy Rancourt and husband Wayne of Boise, Idaho; two great grandchildren, Stephen and Gregory Rancourt.
