NELLIE GILLESPIE, Winterset

Nellie Gillespie died Friday, Feb. 12 1982, at Bethesda Care Center in Winterset. She was 80 years of age.

Mrs. Gillespie was born in Madison county on April 8, 1901, a daughter of Frank E. and Blanche Donaldson Wight.

She spent most of her adult life in California, moving to Winterset a few years ago.

In 1940 she married J. Claude Gillespie. He preceded her in death in 1965. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Claire, George and Ward Wight.

Surviving is one brother, Gayle Wight of Rock Island, Ill.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Calif. Burial was in Forest Lawn cemetery.
