MRS. RENA BEAMER OF MACKSBURG DIES

Had Served As Business Woman There and in St. Charles.

Mrs. Rena Beamer of Macksburg died at her home in that community on Sept. 22 at the age of 75 years. Mrs. Beamer was well known in Macksburg and St. Charles where she engaged in the dressmaking and millinery business for many years. She had been active in store work until last November.

Mrs. Beamer was the former Rena Johnson, elder daughter of James and Eliza Lee Johnson. She was born near Macksburg March 23, 1870. On March 21, 1905, she was married to John Henry Beamer. They were the parents of a daughter, Gertrude. Mr. Beamer died in 1935.

She was a member of the Hawthorne Rebekah lodge of Macksburg.

In addition to her daughter, Gertrude Beamer, she is survived by two half sisters, Mrs. John Beck of Pitzer and Mrs. Will Cameron of Kansas City, Mo.; and a half brother, Lee Stewart of Macksburg.

Funeral services were held from the Macksburg Methodist church in charge of the pastor, the Rev. J. E. Englund. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
