Genevieve Virginia Hart, 74, of Winterset died of a heart ailment Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral services were held Jan. 17 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. Bill Branson officiating. Burial followed at Winterset Cemetery.
Genevieve Virginia Hart was born Sept. 18, 1923, in Des Moines to Charles and Alice (Duprez) Ross. She married Forrest Marvell Hart on June 10, 1943, in Des Moines. She was a homemaker and a resident of Winterset since moving from West Des Moines in 1973. She was also a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Winterset.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by five sons, Steve Hart of Sioux Falls, S.D., Mike Hart of Bon Aqua, Tenn., Doug Hart of Nimrod, Minn., Leo Hart and wife Cheri of Charles City, Iowa, and Mark Hart and wife Sharon of Winterset; and two daughters, Sue Reineck and husband Steve of St. Charles and Michelle Eckstein and husband Dwight of Peru; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
