Ormie Beaman, Chaparral, N.M.

Funeral services for Ormie Beaman, 79, will be held Fri. Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, Winterset. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until service time. Mr. Beaman died August 30 at his son's home in Chaparral where he lived.

Born in Adair County January 24, 1912, he was the son of George and Goldie (Bakerink) Beaman. He married Burla Cox April 22, 1938 in Madison County. Mr. Beaman was a retired farm worker and lived in Adair County on the Adair-Madison line until three years age when he moved to Chaparral, N.M. to be with his son.

Ormis Beaman was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a son, a brother, a sister, and two granddaughters.

Survivors include two sons, Francis of Orient and Ronald of Chaparrel, N.M.; two daughters, Sherry Parrott of Fontanelle and Darlene Kline of Knoxville; two brothers, Oris and Ralph, both of Perry and Bob of Stuart; 32 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in McDonald-Chase Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
