Burla Elsie Beaman, Orient

Services for Burla Elsie Beaman, 66, Orient, who died March 31, at the Knoxville, Iowa Community Hospital will be held Thursday, April 4, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Travis officiating. Burial was at the Chase-McDonald Cemetery.

Born in Madison County on Nov. 28, 1918, she was the daughter of Casper and Hannah Palmer Cox. On April 22, 1938, she was married to Ormie Beaman in Madison County. She was a lifetime resident of the area and was a homemaker most of her life.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Francis of Winterset and Ronald of Chaparelle, Mexico; daughters, Sherry Parrott of Fontanelle and Darlene O'Riley of Tracy; a brother, Lee Cox of Winterset; a sister, Mable chew of Winterset; 28 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, twin granddaughters and a brother.
