Mrs. Young was a member of the M. E. church for many years and often expressed a desire to go and be with Jesus. One of her favorite portions of scripture was the 23d psalm. She requested that John 14-1 be used as the text for her funeral sermon. Funeral services were held in the M. E. church at Truro Thursday at 1:30 p.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. Koser, and interment was made in the St. Charles cemetery. The sympathy of the community goes to these children in their double bereavement, their father having passed away on March 31st.
