Celia Addy Ballard, Winterset

Celia Addy Ballard, 90, who was a resident of the Bethesda Care Center, died at the center on Feb. 6.

Born in Madison County, March 7, 1895, she was the daughter of Hugh and Sarah Schulz Addy. She was a retired buyer for a department store and had lived here seven years, coming from Tucson, Ariz.

Survivors include a brother, Wyman Addy of Winterset; and a sister, Leona Duncan of Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.

Her remains have been cremated and graveside services will be held later with burial at North McDonald Cemetery in Madison County.
