CLYDE BAKER DIES

Clyde Baker, former Peru resident, died in Tilden, Neb., Friday, Feb. 6th and funeral and burial services were held there Monday.

Mr. Baker, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Byron Baker, was born in Peru, but moved to Nebraska with his parents, when he was a boy five years of age, about 60 years ago. He was cashier of a bank in Tilden for many years and recently has owned and operated a drug store in that city.

He is survived by his wife, their son, Eldon Baker, and a grandson, all of Tilden. He is a nephew of Mrs. Maude Black of Winterset and has a number of cousins in this county.
