Jason Baiotto, Illinois

Jason John Baiotto, 20, of Carlyle, Ill., died Jan. 15, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, Ill.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the First United Methodist Church in Carlyle, Ill. with the Revs. Shane Bishop and Jeff Bealmear officiating. Burial was at Carlyle Cemetery.

Jason Baiotto was born April 10, 1984, in Fort Dodge to Dan and Karen (DenHartog) Baiotto. He was a 2002 graduate of Carlyle High School in Carlyle, Ill., and presently attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. Jason was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carlyle.

He is survived by his mother, Karen Sage of O'Fallon, Mo.; his father, Dan Baiotto of Caseyville, Ill.; two sister, Joni Baiotto and Kristi Baiotto, both of Carbondale, Ill.; a stepsister, Leslie Sage of St. Louis, Mo.; his maternal grandmother, Jeanette DenHartog of Clarion; and paternal grandparents, Ernie and Joyce Baiotto of Earlham.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Jason Baiotto Memorial Fund in care of Dan Baiotto, 107 Walnut Dr., Caseyville, Il 62232.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle, Ill.
