EARLHAM-A funeral for Bonnie May Cassady, 57, of Earlham was held March 28, 1992 at Friends Church here. Mrs. Cassady died of complications of diabetes on March 25 at Adel Acres Care Center. Burial was at the Panther Creek Cemetery at Redfield.
The daughter of Otto and Florence Gregg Stonehocker, she was born at Linden on May 4, 1934. She married Earl Gordon Cassady on June 24, 1951. She lived most of her life in Dallas and Madison counties, working in cafes around Earlham, DeSoto and Adel.
Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; two sisters, Marie Leeper and Jean Welton; a brother, Leonard Stonehocker; and a grandson.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Stahl of Knoxville, Bonnie Kay Belew of Redfield and Dolly Fullmer of LeClaire; six sons, Jim and Danny, both of Redfield, Ricky of Des Moines, Gary of Earlham and Larry and Lessly, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers, Forrest Stonehocker and Rex Stonehocker, both of Fremont, Neb., and Floyd Stonehocker of Griswold; three sisters, Pearl Leeper of Ames, Neb., Sarah Davis of Kellerton and Ruby Belew of Afton; and 20 grandchildren.
