Darrell J. Blagg, son of Ernest and Mary Blagg, was born February 7, 1932, at Winterset, Iowa, and entered into rest September 1, 1934, aged 2 years, 6 months and 25 days. His passing occurred at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines, following an automobile accident.
Little Darrell was a bright, beautiful child and will be deeply missed by the family, in which he was greatly beloved
He leaves to mourn his loss, his father and mother, Mr. And Mrs. Ernest Blagg, two brothers, Billy and Gene, grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. T. J. Crawford of Winterset, and Tom Blagg of Bondurant, also a great grandfather, Elwood Hibbs of Mitchellville, besides several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a host of friends.
The funeral services were held at the Christian church in Mitchellville Tuesday, September 4, at 2:30 p.m. Rev, McClurg officiating. Music by a mixed quartet.

Page 1Highway Accident Is Fatal To Child
Darrell Blagg, 2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blagg of Webster township, was fatally injured in an automobile accident on Highway 28 near Norwalk last Saturday night.
Mr. Blagg and two other sons, Eugene, 4 years old, and William, 6 years old, were injured also, when the car in which they were riding collided with another, causing it to overturn in the ditch. The injured occupants were rushed to the Iowa Lutheran hospital where the youngest child died shortly before midnight.
The Blagg car was driven by Donald Crawford of Winterset, a brother of Mrs. Blagg. With him in the front seat were his grandfather, Elmwood Hibbs of Mitchellville, and one of the children. Mr. and Mrs. Blagg and two of the children were in the rear seat.
Clara Wood, 24 years old, of Ft. Des Moines, reported to Polk county officers Sunday that she was driving the car that collided with the Blagg car.
