HETTIE ANDERSON DIES AT 65 YEARS

Funeral services Scheduled To Be Held Here This Thursday

Mrs. Lee Anderson of Winterset died Monday, May 31, at Memorial hospital here, after an extended period of failing health. She was 65 years of age.

Mrs. Anderson had been a resident of Madison county since 1918. she was the former Hettie J. Antle, daughter of Ezra and Sarah Willard Antle, and was born March 5, 1900, at Foss, Oklahoma.

She was married at Winterset in 1919 to Lee H. Anderson.

For 11 years, prior to 1955, she was employed at the Flood Cleaning shop in Winterset.

She had been baptized in the Christian faith in 1928.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Carol and May Anderson, at home; three sons, Howard Anderson of Pella, and Wayne and Wallace Anderson of Winterset; three granddaughters; two brothers, Clifford and Logan Antle; and three sisters, Mrs. Annie Moss of Springdale, Ark., Mrs. Laura Holland of Okarche, Okla., and Mrs. Mabel Shackelford of Stillwater, Okla.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Melvin R. Mattox, pastor of the Grace Baptist church of Winterset. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
