E. E. GUILLIAMS Died On Monday

E. E. Guilliams, well known Union township farmer and a life-long resident of Madison county, died at his farm home east of Winterset Monday. Death came suddenly caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. He was 65 years of age.

Mr. Guilliams was born in Madison county Dec. 7, 1882, the son of Benton C. and Jennie McKinzie Guilliams. His life was spent in this county, with the exception of two years in California.

He engaged in farming during his active life. In addition he operated the Shell Oil station in Winterset for several years. He took an active part in the affairs of this community. He was a member of the Winterset Methodist church, and was affiliated with the Masonic lodge here.

Mr. Guilliams was married on March 18, 1908, to Iva D. Blosser. She survives him, in addition to their two children, Mrs. Dorothy Don Carlos of Greenfield, and E. E. Guilliams, Jr. who is a student at Drake university in Des Moines. He also leaves two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Street of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. George Shultz of Indianola.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. G. L. Hufstader, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Union Chapel cemetery.
