MRS. ANNA ANDERS BURIED HERE FRIDAY

ST. CHARLES-Mrs. Anna Anders, a resident of this community for 30 years, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, after a long illness. She was 80 years of age.

Mrs. Anders was born at Galaz, Va., on Nov. 26, 1872. On Sept. 24, 1888, she was married to David C. Anders. They were the parents of five children, two dying in infancy. Mr. Anders died five years ago.

Prior to 1949, Mrs. Anders lived for 30 years in or near St. Charles. Since then she had made her home with her daughter, Cora, in Connecticut.

She is survived by a son, William Anders of Des Moines; the daughter, Mrs. Cora Martin of Southington, Conn., and a son, Clarence Anders, of Rock Island, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and 18 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Christian church here, conducted by the Rev. Joe King. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
