John Ray Alley Died at Greenfield

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church in Greenfield Monday afternoon for John Ray Alley who died at the Adair County Hospital November 1st. Burial was in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Mr. Alley was born in Greene County, Pennsylvania July 14th, 1888. He is survived by his wife, a son Harry of Winterset and three daughters, Mrs. U. H. (Louise) Marrs of Winterset, Mrs. Darwin (Mildred) Eddy of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Joe (Mary) Beaumont of Superior, Nebraska, thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four sisters.

Those attending the services from Winterset included Mr. and Mrs. Harry Alley, Mr. and Mrs. U. H. Marrs, Mr. and Mrs. Milo MIles, Mrs. Robert Mills and Keith Bell.
