Lee Vern Wilkie, Harrison, Ark.

Memorial services for Lee Vern Wilkie, 83, were held Sat., Feb. 23 at the United Methodist Church in Earlham. He died of a stroke February 17 at Northwest Arkansas Medical Center.

A retired farmer, he lived in Earlham all his life until moving to Arkansas in 1980.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva; two daughters, Betty Wilkie and Bonnie Dunn, both of Des Moines; a stepson, Jerry Rogers of Des Moines; a stepdaughter, Nancy Pigneri of Balboa, Calif.; three sisters, Esther Comp of Des Moines, Bernice Thompson of Livonia, Mich., and Mariam Anderson of Madrid; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Private burial of the cremains was in Earlham Cemetery.
