Evelyn B. Wambold, Des Moines

Funeral srvices for Evelyn Bernice Wambold, 77, were held Sat., March 9 at Westover Funeral Home, Des Moines. She died March 7 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, Des Moines.

Born in New Virginia, she lived in Tama, Indianola and Earlham before moving to Des Moines eight years ago. She retired as a self-emplyed conservationist. She was a member of Worthington United Methodist Church in Earlham, the Conservancy, Boys Scout Leaders of America, Civil Air Patrol, Retired Women Pilots and the Cousteau Society Association.

Surviving are a son, Craig of Urbandale; a sister, Ilo Harlow of West Des Moines; four brothers, Dudley Norris of Altoona, Bob Norris of Des Moines and O. Earl Norris and Rusty Norris, both of Indianola; and two grandchildren.

Burial was at Indianola IOOF Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Conservancy or the U.S. Air Force Academy.
