Olive Swinford Dies

Local relatives of Olive Hockett Swinford have received word of her death which occurred March 21, 1974. She was 62 years of age. Olive was a former Earlham resident and a 1931 graduate from the local high school. In recent years she has made her home in Wilcox, Arizona.

In February, her son Jerry Swinford and his family returned from Germany after finishing a tour of duty in the Army. They stopped in Earlham for a few hours at that time then went on to the Colorado Springs, Colorado area to make their home.

Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, and is survived by Jerry and his family and her three cousins, Frank, Hugh and Marion Wilson.
