Kathy Anna Allen, Winterset

Funeral services for Kathy Anna Allen, 19, were held Tues., June 9 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating. She died June 6 in Winterset of a seizure.

A lifelong Winterset resident, she was born in Winterset on July 20, 1972 to Robert P. and Helen Allen and graduated from Winterset High School in 1990. She had recently completed her first year at Southwestern Community College, Creston and was a member of First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother. Surviving are her parents and a brother, Matt, all of Winterset; and her grandmother, Vera Jackson of Lake City.

Burial was at North McDonald Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
