A native resident of Madison County, Iva Blosser Guilliams, 89, died Thursday, August 19, 1976, at the Adair County Hospital in Greenfield, Iowa. She had been a resident for the past eight years at the Good Samaritan Center in Fontanelle.
The daughter of Samuel Blosser and Alia Gillogly Blosser, Mrs. Guillism was married to Ernest Guilliams, who died February 4, 1948. She was a 68 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
A housewife and school teacher, Mrs. Guilliams was affiliated with the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Waldo (Dorothy) Don Carlos of Greenfield, Iowa; a son,E. E. Guilliams of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Beulah Grout of Winterset. Mrs. Guilliams was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services for Iva Blosser Guilliams were conducted Saturday, August 21, at 2 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, Rev. Paul Hann officiating.
Burial was made at the Union Chapel Cemetery in (South Township) Madison County.
