Graveside services were held Mar. 26 for George E. Allen, 79, of Independence, Mo., who died Mar. 23.
He was a former railroad mail clerk for 39 years and had been retired for 15 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Bruett, formerly of Madison County; a son, George E. Allen, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Linda Sue; and three granddaughters.
