Former St. Charles Resident Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Lester Alexander, aged 65, who lived on a farm southeast of St. Charles, were held on Monday afternoon, at Peterson's Funeral home in Indianola. Burial was at White Oak cemetery, east of Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Alexander lived in the St. Charles community for 18 years, prior to moving to Elgin, Illinois last June. She died in Elgin, Thursday, January 7th.

She is survived by her husband, a son Willis of St. Charles, three daughters, Mrs. Gordon Robbins of Tracy, Mrs. Murray Kamerica of Pella, and Mrs. Dean Taylor of Ackworth. She also leaves seven brothers and seven sisters and eight grandchildren.
