FRANK McCAULEY Of Winterset Dies

Frank L. McCauley of Winterset died at Memorial hospital here Monday, Nov. 2, 1970, at the age of 82 years.

Mr. McCauley had been a resident of Madison county since 1939, farming in Jackson township until he moved to Winterset in 1958.

He was a native of Jasper county, where he was born Dec. 24, 1887, a son of Frank L. McCauley, Sr., and Francis Hedricks McCauley. He was married in Polk county on Dec. 22, 1909, to Madge L. Douglass, who survives him.

He was a member of the First Christian church in Winterset.

In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Darrell Daggett of Earlham; two grandchildren, Steven D. Daggett of Des Moines and Jane Ann Daggett of Kirksville, Mo.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. this Wednesday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Eldon E. Jandebeur, pastor of the First Christian church here. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
