1961ADDIE ALEXANDER FUNERAL HELD HERE
Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset for Mrs. Addie Alexander, who had died Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Hardin, Mont. The Rev. John C. Porath, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church, conducted the service. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
Memorial services had been held also at Hardin last Friday.
Mrs. Alexander had been visiting in Hardin at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruth Wight, at the time of her death. Most of her life was spent in Madison county. She was born in Woodhull, Ill., on July 6, 1882, a daughter of Mark and Mary F. Clark Miller. She was 79 years of age at her death.
She was the widow of Erving Alexander of Winterset, whose death occurred in 1942.
Surviving are a son, Curtis Alexander of Winterset; the daughter, Mrs. Ruth Wight of Hardin, Mont.; three granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. Ed Fletcher of Des Moines.

Mrs. E. W. (Addie) Alexander, a long time resident of Madison county died this Wednesday morning in Hardin, Mont. where she had gone in September to spend the winter at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lysle Wight.
Mrs. Alexander was 79 years of age. She had been a patient at the hospital in Hardin for two weeks, but returned to her daughter's home last Friday.
Mrs. Alexander was a native of Illinois, but spent 73 years of her life in Madison county. She is survived by the daughter at Hardin and a son Curtis Alexander of Winterset.
The body is being returned to the Collins Funeral home at Winterset. Funeral services and burial will be held here.
