Jon Aldrich, Waukee

Jon T. Aldrich, 54, of Waukee died of cancer Aug. 16, 1994 in his home. Funeral services were held Aug. 19, 1994 at the Waukee Christian Church with burial at the Waukee Cemetery.

He was born in Des Moines and married Sara Hendricks on Oct. 7, 1961 at the Winterset Methodist Church. He was a lifetime resident of Waukee and had been a vault teller for the Firstar Bank in Des Moines since 1961. He was a member of the Waukee Christian Church.

Surviving relatives include his wife; two sons, Cris Aldrich of Woodward and Steve Aldrich of Waukee; one daughter, Diana Haynes of Adel; his mother, Eleanor Aldrich of Waukee; three brothers, Jerry Aldrich of Des Moines, Ron Aldrich of Urbandale and Mike Aldrich of Waukee; and three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Waukee Christian Church or Hospice of Central Iowa.
