Mrs. Burt Aldrich

Floss Montgomery Aldrich was born near Van Meter, March 6, 1882 and passed away at the home her son, Burt Jr., in Chicago, June 25, 1953, after a short illness. She was married to Burt Aldrich who passed away several years ago. To this union two sons were born. After the death of her husband she spent several years in California, where two sister, Mrs. Craft and Mrs. Bullard live. She leaves her two sons, sister, Mrs. Lannin and Mrs. Mellie Pierce of Van Meter, the two sisters in California and one brother. One sister, Mrs. Heise and a brother passed away several years ago. Funeral services were held at the U.B. church in Van Meter at 2 o'clock Sunday with burial at the Thornton cemetery.
