Jeanett Albright, Cedar Rapids

Jeanett Marie "Dutch" Albright, 64, of Cedar Rapids died of cancer Dec. 8, 2002, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset with Pastor Ben Turner officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (the time of service) with family present from 1-2 p.m. A memorial service also will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 11) at the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Lorimor Cemetery.

Dutch Albright was born Oct. 5, 1938 to Harold and Verna Marie (Verwers) Robinett of Lorimor. She grew up in the Lorimor area, moving to Cedar Rapids, where she spent the rest of her lifetime. On Sept. 30, 1986 she married James L. Albright in Nevada. Dutch had been a shipping clerk for Midland Forge in Cedar Rapids. She was a member of the Shrine Auxiliary and Eagles's Club in Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her husband, James of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Robin Rekemeyer (husband Floyd) of Cedar Rapids and Debbie Waterbury (husband Bruce) of Bremerton, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Tracy Brach (husband Ray) of Las Vegas, Nev., and Corrine Jones (companion Kelly Perkins) of Cedar Rapids; two stepsons, Kelly Albright (wife Fee) and Jody Albright (wife Hayde) both of Las Vegas, Nev.; her father, Harold Robinett of Lisbon; four grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Shrine Transportation Fund.
