Life-Long Resident Of This County Was 88 Years Of Age
Jerry Moore, a life-long resident of Madison county, died Tuesday night at the Will Shoemaker home in Winterset where he was being cared for. He was 88 years old and had been ill the past year.
Mr. Moore was born in Madison county and spent his active years farming in Scott township. For the past 28 years he had lived in Winterset.
He is survived by five children: Glen Moore of Winterset, S. W. Moore and Ben J. Moore of Waitsburg, Wash., Mrs. Christina Call of Des Moines and Effie Gibson of Murray.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. this Friday from Ramsey-Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. L. F. Davis. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
