Mrs. Nancy J. Goode, a resident of Winterset for about 25 years, died at her home here Friday, Sept. 8, 1961. She was 81 years of age.
Mrs. Goode was a native of Kentucky, where her early life was spent. Her first marriage was to Milford Linville, and a later marriage to R. A. Goode.
She was the mother of Robert E. Linville, a Winterset business man for many years, with whom she made her home until his death in 1959.
Surving are three brothers, Oliver M. DeHart of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and John E. and Arthur A. DeHart. She also leaves two step-daughters, Mrs. Pyrle Stevens and Mrs. Marie M. Marshall, both of Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Roert A. Damon, pastor of the First Baptist church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
