Funeral services were held this Wednesday afternoon from Collins Funeral Home for Dale Niblo, a life-long resident of Madison County.
Mr. Niblo died Jan. 8, 1973, at Madison County Memorial Hospital. He was 73 years of age.
A son of Robert S. and Annie Bruce Niblo, he was born in this county on Feb. 4, 1899.
He was married to Edith Roberts on Feb. 2, 1927. Mr. Niblo farmed in Jackson and Douglas townships for many years, retiring to Winterset in 1955. He was a member of the Methodist church.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Robert and Marion, both of Winterset; a sister, Mrs. Helene Alexander of Jackson township; and eight grandchildren.
Officiating at the funeral service was the Rev. Newton Coughenour. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
