E. Marie Standing

EARLHAM-A funeral for E. Marie Standing, 79, of Earlham was held Oct. 16, 1992 at the United Methodist church here, with burial following at the Earlham Cemetery. Mrs. Standing died of cancer on Oct. 13.

The daughter of Roy W. and Lulu Belle Bilderback Fry, she was born at Earlham on Feb. 2, 1913. She married Gordon Standing on March 1, 1932. She had worked as an aide at the Earlham Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Gordon, who died in July of this year.

Survivors include a daughter, Sally Russell of Earlham; a son, Jerry Standing of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Robert Fry of Meadview, Ariz. And Charles Fry of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters, Kathryn L. Stumpenhorst of Des Moines and Mary Boyle of Earlham; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
