Dale L. Addy of Walbridge, Ohio, a native of Winterset, died Monday, Oct. 13, at St. Luke's Hospital in Walbridge at the age of 47.
Born Aug. 15, 1933, in Winterset, he was the son of Walter Wyman and Mary Katherine Mattews Addy. He was united in marriage to C. Delores Silliman on Sept. 20, 1953, in Winterset.
Mr. Addy was employed in the research and development department of Owens-Illinois for the past nine years. An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Phoenix Lodge 123 F. and A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Toldeo Zenobia Shrine and was first vice president of the Wood County Shrine Association.
Surviving are his wife Delores; two children, Dennis P. Addy and Deborah S. Zogaib; two grandsons; and his parents, Walter and Mary Addy of Winterset.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Grace United Methodist Church in Perrysburg, Ohio, with burial in Fort Meigs Cemetery. Witzler-Shank-Heilman Funeral Home in Perrysburg was in charge of arrangements.
