Death Here Of Mrs. Cettie Addy

Funeral services were held Monday, November 22, at 10 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home for Cettie Glee Addy, wife of O. D. Addy, Sr. She died Friday, November 19, 1976, at Madison County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Addy was born April 5, 1902, in Watseka, Illinois, the daughter of Willis and Ella Cook Salesbury. Her marriage to O. D. Addy took place January 1, 1921, in Winterset.

A resident of the Winterset area for 63 years, Mrs. Addy, a housewife, was affiliated with the Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, O. D. Addy, Jr. of Winterset and one granddaughter, Hollis Lynn Addy of Warsaw, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters.

Rev. Paul Bousfield officiated at Monday's services. Burial was made at Jefferson Township Cemetery.
