Services for Dwight Addy, 76, Winterset, who died April 3 at the Bethesda Care Center, were held Friday, April 6 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Updike officiating. Burial was at the Winterset cemetery.

Born in Madison county March 29, 1908,he was the son of Finley and Carrie Manders Addy. He spent his lifetime in the county and was married to Vernal Severns at Fort Dodge on Sept. 5, 1933.

Survivors include sons, Eugene of Marshalltown and Ronnie of Winterset; sisters, Flossie Pritchard of Mercer, Mo., and Corgie Cortney of Lorimor; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
