A native of Winterset, Harry Bruce Locke, born August 12, 1895, died Sunday, April 11, 1976, at Madison County Memorial Hospital. He was 80 years of age.
The son of John Locke and Alice E. Fosher Locke, Harry Locke was a lifetime resident of Madison County. His marriage to Hazel Cooper Locke took place January 27, 1927 in Des Moines.
Mr. Locke was employed as a roofer during his life with his brother in the Locke Brothers Roofing Company.
Survivoros include his wife, Hazel Locke and one sister, Blanche Adams of Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Locke was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Vern, and two sisters, Eva Nelson and Doris Masters.
Funeral services for Harry Locke were conducted Wednesday, April 14, at 10:30 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul Bousfield officiating. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
