MARY J. COOPER

Mary J. Cooper, daughter of Lemuel L. and Hannah Cooper was born April 7, 1853 near Lathrop, Clinton county, Missouri. She passed away at her home in Earlham, Saturday, November 11, 1944 at the age of 91 years, seven months and four days. She was one of a family of seven children, all preceding her in death.

She was united in marriage to Elisha Fry March 23, 1879. They settled on a farm north of Earlham for a few years, later moving to her present home in Earlham. To this union were born two sons, Earn of Earlham, and Denton of Butte, Montana.

She leaves to mourn her passing the two sons and one step-daughter Maggie Fry, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, a host of friends. Her husband, two step-daughters, Mrs. Jennie Patt and Alice Fry, and three step-sons, James, Edd and George having preceded her in death.

Mary J. Fry, 91 Died Saturday

Mrs. Mary J. Fry died at her home in Earlham, Saturday, November 11 at the age of 91 years. She had been in declining health for some time.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, Rev. S. R. Overholser conducted the services. Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery.
